I truly believe that New Years is just an excuse to get drunk and try to kiss that one person who has had your head in a spin all year. Everything else that humanity has bundled with it, is complete rubbish. Why should i have to try and better my self just because the earth has managed to orbit the sun once more, without exploding into a million pieces? It just makes no sense to me. So i told myself, "don't make a new years resolution. You are just gonna get depressed when you realize that you broke it after 10 minutes." So i didn't, i made it to the 31st and had no plans to better myself. Until i spoke to that girl who had my head in a spin. She asked me one simple question. "How's college?" Right then i knew that i needed a resolution. The only answer i could give her was "boring." Plain and simple. I wasn't having fun at college, i choose the course because of one livestream, that was it. Well i say that was it. I managed to link the course into my true passion and that's story telling. So i felt like i needed to change something and it couldn't be my course, i was already to far into it to change now, without having to drop out and wait till next year.
There i was. 10 minutes away from midnight, making a new year resolution. Tell stories. That's it. No big life changing goal, that involves me losing a certain amount of weight, or going into space. Just tell stories in any way that i can. They don't even have to be original stories. Even if i tell a simple nursery rhyme to a child, or tell my friends about one of Creepy Pasta's latest videos. And so here i am, telling stories. I'm not going to claim that they will be great pieces of literature, or terrifying tales that will keep you awake through sheer horror. I'm not even going to try and tell you that a new story will be uploaded once a week for the whole of this year, because honestly i don't know but what i will say is this: There are currently three blogs under my name. This one that you are currently reading, which we just be my thoughts and random crap. One which will feature my characters from various games, telling their stories from the characters perspective and one in which i write my own original tales and share them with the world. Some will be short, while others long and who knows maybe i'll end up doing something with all the crap i post and transition them over to YouTube.
